Nonstop Backup Recovery

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I just recently opened a photo file on a drive that I had nonstop recovery setup on. I edited the file and accidentially saved it, overwriting the original.

I think, not a big problem, I'll recover the nonedited version, so I go into Time Explorer and select yesterday and the file and click recover, but it brings back the same edited file, not the original that was there yesterday. I've tried several dates, and tried the select version, which had 3 version, the first being when I set up NSB a month ago.

So am I doing something wrong? Seems intuitive to me to use it like I was, and I an't find any instructions that say anything different

Appreciate any help to recover this photo

Spoke a little too soon. I was able to recover the file by finding the NSB under Disk Backups on the main Recovery screen. Right clicking on recover from here lead my thru some steps to select certain dates to recover from.

I guess the only issue I had then was Time Explorer didn't work very well, or at all for me in this situation
