Noobie Question for Universal Restore.

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I have a question regarding Universal Restore. At the moment i do not have the immediate need to utilize Universal Restore but, i recently encountered a potentially devastating problem that reminded me to pay attention to system backups. Im new to this and a bit confused. i'm looking for some clarity.

- Can i create Acronis Bootable Media (Acronis Rescue Media) and put it away or does it need some sort of upkeep (ie. a scheduled backup)?

- I watched a youtube video that explains how its critical to download the drivers for the new system before moving the HD. I also watched a video on "how to move your HD to a new system w/o reinstalling OS or formatting your HD", in that tutorial it showed a whole bunch of drivers being uninstalled.
Since i'll most likely build my PC, i'll know my components manufacturer but besides that, How do i know what kind of drivers i need to download?

- When you're going to "recover" to the new system, am i correct to assume, i will have my HD with the System Backup and Drivers and medium with Bootable Media plugged in my new system?

- According to this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIl2L0OjZks

In Rescue Media, what is the difference between the "My Disk > Choose Backup of System Disk" (4:14), "What to Recover step" (5:32) and the "Specify the destination of the disk being recovered" (5:33)?

This one probably confuses me the most since i never tried the procedure yet. To me, it sounds like its trying to clone a drive and make it the new boot drive for the new system.
