NSB - use of temp folder

Thread needs solution

After receiving a message that my C: drive was almost full I found a number of files running 10GB, 20GB and even 40GB in size. These had the names of files I had under NSB, but were 10,000 time larger. Watching the temp folder, I found numerous files being copied there almost continuously. Pausing NSB did not stop the copying. It was only after I deleted the backup that the copying stopped.

Why is NSB copying files to the temp folder? Why are some of the files so large?

Thanks,
Frank

Frank,
I doubt we can answer this question for you based on the limited information we have from your post. NSB manages and cleans itself up automatically, so having files as large as 40GB may indicate things are not running correctly? Why don't you tell us a little more about your environment and what you are using NSB to protect (entire disk, files, etc).

Posting some of your Acronis log files as wel as an Acronis System Report may also be helpful.

Thanks
