One click protection problems

I have Acronis 2009 on an XP machine.

In using 'One click protection', I make a file on my external HD. If I make a second backup, the first one is replaced by the second. Is this normal?

Also, if I make a one click backup, and then use that backup as a restore file, I get a message "can not fine volume 1 of the backup.

Any help?
