One Drive Backed Up - One Not
I have a 1TB drive (C) and one 150 GB SSD (D). I back them both up weekly (at the same time) as full back ups. I've been doing this for some time and have had no problems.
Lately, I have been getting an error that says that the backup failed. I checked for errors on the C drive and tried to back it up again (by itself) but it did not work. I tried to back up the D (SSD) drive by itself and it was fine.
I paid the $9.95 for support but the problem persists. Could some error on the C drive still be causing the backup to fail?

1.) One task
2.) Single drive (I alternate between an internal and an external)
3.) It fails at the very end of the process. The backups appear to be the correct size and I can open them fine. It appears to be happening during validation process
4.) It says, "The last backup has failed." I've attached a screenshot.
Thank you!

This may have nothing to do with the problem, but I would prefer to backup those drives using two separate backup tasks.
Try running a validation on one of those backups.

OK, I'm trying to do a backup on the C drive now without validation and will run a validation on it after it's finished. I'll report back. Thanks!
PS It was working fine previously backing up both the C and D drive in the same task. But, it's not a big deal to do them separately.

Also be aware that sometimes the
chkdsk x: /r (x=drive letter)
does not fix all errors on first pass if errors are found on the first pass.
Both drives should be checked for errors if you have not done so.
Also, on the line where it shows the task failed, use the "view log" option to get more info about the failure.

OK, I ran chkdsk again and backed up the C drive without validation and then ran validation separately and it checked out. So, that is good!
Also, I looked at the logs for one of the failures and this is what is said.
