online backup always fails

Thread needs solution

I have True Image 2013 -- 16,0,0,6682 / Windows 7 all updates installed

A week or so ago I enabled the online backup (trail version), I have the purchased product just not the online storage yet. I started the backup and it ran for several days until it failed (Failed data server is not available). The next day I restarted the backup, after a day or so it still was 25% complete and flashing "Calculating" and "162ish days and about 35Kb" on the bottom right of online backup. I suspended the backup, rebooted and restarted, same results. The first time I did the backup the speed was much faster and it did not flash calculating, it showed a real value and did not flash back to calculating.

I sort of forgot about it until today, I set it for high priority and have restarted it but so far it seem to be doing the same thing.

I am using Comcast and normally get 12MB down and 2MB up and normally can transfer large files in either direction without problems.

Any suggestions?

Update: Been another 24 hours and it is still trying to backup one file (1.5gb). When I went to bed it was running about 150Kb, when I got up it was 45Kb, and now it shows about 240Kb. I see no hope in this ever finishing. I am pretty sure the first backup was running in the megabit range but maybe wrong. I know I can upload GB files in less then an hour so it is not the network.
