Online Backup and Windows Home Server

Thread needs solution

Apologies if this is the wrong forum to post this question.
I have TI2010, and now that 250GB of online storage is available, I'm considering buying the online plugin.
What I have just realised is that this will work as a stand alone tool, and the question I have relates to this and specifically -
I actually run a Windows Home Server (TI2010 is not compatible, with a server environment), and would like to install the online backup application (note, not TI2010), onto the WHS, and backup directly from the server to the online storage - i.e. the option I would currently have to employ is backup to online storage via a connected PC.
Can anyone confirm that the online backup app runs as service, in which case it should work without being logged into WHS?
thanks

Well, I've answered my own question - I tried to install the Online backup utility onto the Windows Home Server, and was confronted by a warning that the application couldn't be installed on a server and the installation failed.

Acronis, please bring out a Windows HOme Server compatible version of the online backup?

Acronis Online Backup does not support Windows Home Server, unfortunately. An small client agent is downloaded and installed on your PC for encryption and other functions.
