Online Backup Fails

Thread needs solution

I am attempting for the first time to backup up approximately 35GB of data using True Image Online Backup. I realize this will take many days, but so far my first attempt failed with the following log output:

It appears to have transferred about 3.5GB of data to the online server. Is anyone capable of deciphering what went wrong from the log verbiage above?

Thank you for any help...

The Acronis server timed out, this could be down to the server and the number of connections, the state of traffic on the internet generally or possibly your ISP has an upload speed limit/quota.

The only help I can offer is to check the last item about your ISP and then try again.

You didn't mention what region of the world you are in, I assume Acronis have the cloud servers in more than one country, but I believe Germany and the US are the main places.

Colin,

I think the connection must have failed, but it was working when I checked it within 10 min. or so of getting the failure message (I get email notices). I decided to try again, and it appears to be running an has been for several days. My big issue is that I can't keep my backup going non-stop for much longer and I am only about 1/4 of the way through the backup. I have three questions:

1. The message says the "operation completed with errors". Does that mean the backup is corrupted? I have re-started the backup and it appears to be proceeding this time without problems, but will the "errors" compromise the whole backup, or does that just mean the initial try at backing up didn't complete?

2. If I click Suspend, will it suspend the backup and allow me to close out of True Image 2013, and then come back at a later time to resume without starting over?

3. How can I run my normal local incremental backup that I do to an onsite HD each evening? Do I suspend the Online Backup, run the incremental, and then resume the online backup?

Sorry if my questions seem uninformed, but I am!
