Thread needs solution

I've seen the other forms roads the one seems to be closed and point here. There seems to be no contact on this thread and I'm surprised by that. I am receiving the error operations still in progress. I can't seem to find a solution online. I am surprised by this considering the quality I have experience to Acronis products in the past.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate with all the latest system patches and the latest video card drivers and the latest motherboard drivers. The system is a core i7 with 8 gigs of ram and plenty of storage space and an ssd as the primary.

What is Acronis doing to adjust this issue?

This is likely related to Validation. Please disable perform validation option after back up by editing the back up task or disabling prior to running a back up manually. Retest and report the results. We suggest validating manually so the task occurs on demand, when you want it to.

How do you get into the program to disable validation when the message NEVER GOES AWAY, even after 3 days of continuous running? Shutting down the computer by turning it of doesn't work, Ctrl-Alt-Delete doesn't work.

I am having the same exact issue, can't get past this message - have tried the above as well PLEASE HELP - computer is useless

Any updates on this issue? It happens every time I try to shutdown my computer and I have to force shutdown.
I have taken all my backups off automatic (even though I'd rather not) and "end process" on all acronis functions before shutting down and still get the issue.

More of the same from me and my Windows 7 system. I know this backup system must be complicated, but is not really clear how such an obviously common malfunction can continue and Acronis has no fix I can find here. There are suggestions but I don't expect to be a techie to run my system. I will have to call and pay for a fix?
