partial backup

hello support team!
I think my problem have been asked before but I couldn't find relative topic so sorry for asking (probably) repetitive question
I want to take a back up of my significant information which are in E & F & G drives.
so I don't want to take a full back up.
can I use a DVD as destination? or the destination capacity should be equal to the source file(s) (about 265 GB)
if no why I receive an unknown error and if yes what can I do for this purpose.
