Partition C: deleted after recovering another one on C?

Thread needs solution

Please I need help, I had two partitions on the HDD and I wanted to open the file on the smaller one, the file was a .tib file, so I downloaded Acronis True Image Trial to open it.
What I did was recovering this .tib file on the partition C:, which was de bigger one where I had everything, I restarted the PC, and it was like I had just bought it then, I had nothing of my things!!
Anybody knows what happened and if I can recover all the partition that has been "deleted" by this error? Anyone knows if with the same Acronis is it possible to recover it? Or have I lost my things forever?

Thank you all so much.

I don't entirely understand, but I think you're saying that you restored a .tib image to your drive.

When you restore a disk or partition image, everything that previously existed on the target disk/partition is deleted and replaced by whatever was in the .tib image. You cannot "undelete" the disk/partition, as it has been replaced.

To view the contents of a .tib image, you do not need to restore it. You can mount it as a drive, or open it in Windows Explorer and browse its contents.

Thanks so much, you have understood it perfectly, that's what has happened, I just wanted to mount the .tib image as a drive or even opening it in windows explorer but don't know why nothing worked;
and don't ask me why I ended doing that, so I've lost all I had... as I imagined and I have nothing to do, well, what will we do hahaha, thank you so much for confirming what I expected so I won't continue trying to find ways to recover what I have lost.
And excuse me for my english, so I'm not a native one.

Thanks again!!

Your English is fine.
