Password for scheduling task

Thread needs solution

I don't know why this should be so difficult to find info on; very frustrating.
My scheduled incremental disc back-ups are not happening. I have deleted my full ones twice and set the whole shebang up again, with a several-day schedule. Now Acronis is asking me for a password for setting the schedule and doesn't like the one I offer. Short of uninstalling and reinstalling Acronis Home 10, is there no way for me to reset this mystery password? I can't find it in help or on the website, and Acronis's features has gotten so complex, I don't have time to look through everything.

Acronis used to work like a charm--sweet and simple. As an IT professional, I'm used to help files that don't, of course, but if I keep having this trouble, I may just dump Acronis and go with Windows' back-up.

Thanks for any assistance.

Usually, if TI is asking for a password at task scheduling time, it is asking for the password which you use to login to Windows and/or possibly a network storage drive.

While some users have their login set so they are not asked for login, the password is still in existence.

Some users truly have no password and you may be able to get by this obstacle by simply clicking thru it.
