PC doesn't shut down after the backup is complete.

Thread needs solution

Computer doesn’t shut down after the backup is complete.
I have Windows 7 Pro x64, ATI 2014 and external HD for data backups.
Windows7 advanced power settings:
Hard Disk Turn off: Never. Sleep after: Never. Allow hybrid sleep: On. Hibernate after: Never. Allow wake timers: Enable. Display Turn off after: Never
ATI2014 Settings:
Backup scheme: Custom. Backup method: Incremental, create a full version after every 6 incremental versions, store no more 3 recent version chains.
Advanced:
Validate backup when it is created.
Shutdown the computer after the backup is complete.
Performance:
Compression level: Normal. Operation priority: Normal.
Schedule operation: Daily start at 11 p. m.
Advanced: Wake up the sleeping/hibernating computer. Prevent computer from going to sleep/hibernate. Run when the current device is attached.

At the end of every successful backup, I get message that Acronis waits for my response – to shut down computer or cancel shutdown procedure.
Need help.

Greetings,
Might other users or profiles be logged in or active when this occurs?

Have you considered trying a post task command such as "shutdown" with an appropriate switch - shutdown /[switch]

This can provide some additional details to suggestion offered by MVP shadowsports.
