Permanently change default values in Rescue Disk

Thread needs solution

A while back I decided to ditch the "regular" method of doing Full Image Backups and have opted to do these via my Rescue Disk. In a prior post I expressed my reasons, so let's just say it "works for me!".

However and during my weekly Full Image Backup (using my Rescue Disk), I have to override some default values to execute wanted options such as: Backup Location & Name, Full Backup (versus Incremental), Validate Backup, Shut-Down PC after end, etc.

So my questions are: Is there a way to set these values permanently prior to creating my Rescue Disk? Is there an .ini file or similar configuration file that I can edit with these parameters prior to creating my Rescue Disk?

Thanks in advance for your time and efforts.

NO. Unfortunately, what you see is what you get. There is no opportunity to change these values--either before or after the CD is created. This would be an improvement that only Acronis can implement.

Some versions such as the original version 8 or 9 had default value which could be controlled but about 5 years or so ago, this option was dropped
in favor of preset-nonchangeable values. There has been many comments/requests on the forum about the need to have user controlled CD values but Acronis has not seen fit to implement such a change. Put your comments into the wish list posting.
