Please HELP! Backup failed on 3 terabyte drive!
I have a 3 Terabyte hard disc where there is still 1 terabyte of free space. Current image backup failed with full disk error! So it seems ATIH2012 cannot access more than 2 terabyte on this disc?!
But Acronis Extended Capacity Manager tells me that everything is OK and every hard disc can be fully accessed! So what now?
The 3 terabyte drive model: WDC WD30EZRX-00MMMB0
Drive Revision: 80.00A80
Drive Controller: Serial ATA 6Gb/s
Drive Capacity: 2,861,588 MBytes (3000 GB)
Number of Cylinders: 16383
Number of Heads: 16
Sectors Per Track: 63
Number of Sectors: 16514064
Max. PIO Transfer Mode: 4

If I understand correctly, the backup disk is the one with 3TB, correct?
The disk is full message typically happens when a user tries to do a backup that is to big for the remaining space. ATI always do a new backup *before* deleting/consolidating anything. In particular, it will do a new full backup before deleting any full+Partial chain that is older.
