Plus Pack Slows the startup of my computer, any one else?
Hi, I've been running the trial of TIH 2010 successfully for a couple weeks now. I just got my sealed full edition package from Amazon (for less money than the upgrade download available at this site), and after registering it on-line (the package says you can enter the first 2 sets of characters and get an email with the full serial no., but it told me the serial no. was invalid. After entering the whole serial no., it did take), I then registered my copy of the Plus Pack. Not only do I see no real need for the Plus Pack (for me anyway), it appears that the start-up time for my computer takes longer. The mouse is jerky, and the start button seems to freeze. I uninstalled the Plus Pack and Windows seems to be back to normal. This is an I7/W7/64bit. Any one else? And what real use is there? It has the same image download. The only thing I see is restoring to different equipment? And stuff for W7 Ultimate? Seems like more excess baggage.

Hi Wonder, I'm using 7046. But, that's one of the things I wanted to know, about the image. I did base my observation on the file size. I guess as long as I'm using only one system, and it is already working fine, I have no use for the Plus Pack at all. Might as well just keep it available for some odd issue in the future.
I do think it is running something extra at startup. I did see something flash acronis in my startup. It might have been the non-stop backup even though I've never turned it on. Anyway, it just starts up faster without the Plus pack on my system.

Hello,
PL1, let me assist you.
To investigate the issue and to provide you with a solution we need some additional information from you.
Could you please gather AcronisInfo output as described at this KB article and then submit a support request with the collected data? This will allow us to find out what exactly caused this slowness.
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.
WonderWrench, thank you for your observations.
