Portabilty: Want Symantec Ghost like features.

Thread needs solution

Evening

Used to use Ghost for years, was very hand in that I could go around someone's house with ghost on a USB stick, take an image of their hdd, reinstall windows and then using ghost explorer copy out the user data or any other dats needed etc.

I have start playing woith the trial version and found its a much better replacement for ghost running my a USB stick, but thus far I cant find a way to browse the backup image without installing Acronis on said machine or plugging the hard drive of the rebuilt pc into my laptop and copying out the data that way.

So my question is how do I go about using/making a portalble version of the mount image tool, so I can mount/read the a backup image on the fly - like I could do with ghost explorer.

Should I be able to do this I will go online and buy the full version etc.

With Acronis your purchase allows you one or three licences for specific machines.

With the trial version, you will need to ensure the recovery CD works for you.
