Is this possible.
Hi!
I am not sure if this is the right forum, but if it isn't I apologize. I just bought Acronis for home. I have several old computers and a new computer that I just bought with windows 7 and a 3TB hard drive. I would like take an image of each of the old hard drives on my old computers and store them on my new 3 TB machine. Then I would like to use Virtual PC, or VM Ware to be able to run my images of my old computers on my host operating system. I understand there may be some issues with the dissimilar hardware.
Is this possible, or could someone point me to the best way to do it.
Also it would be REALLY slick to be able to store the images on the 3TB drive, and then be able to select one operating system to boot up and run, and then be able to see the other hard drive image files as an external disk.
Is this possible

Thanks Pat L.
That set me up in the right direction. In my case I could not use Virtual PC because the drives were bigger than 127 GB. I ended up converting my tib files to vhd files using acronis. Then I could use the large vhd disks inside of Virtual Box.
It finally works!
Yea!
