Is is possible to backup TI 2010 tasks ?

Thread needs solution

After setting up over 20 tasks with True Image 2010, I'd like to be able to capture or save those tasks. Is this possible, if so what is the process for preserving created tasks ?

Use Windows explorer and browse to your scripts folder (search for Scripts if necessary).
There you can use the normal copy function and copy the entire folder to another locations of your choosing.
Of course, if you have backup archives of your system drive, these are included in the backup.

Good luck,

Hello,

GroverH, thanks for your help, you are absolutely correct.

Randall, let me add some words to GroverH's statement.

The thing is, even if you copy all your tasks back after the restoration or re-installation, most likely, all your tasks will appear in True Image, but they become unscheduled, so you will have to edit them.

Tasks are stored not only in the scripts folder, but in Acronis Scheduler itself. That's why the above situation may occur. Acronis True Image Home just doesn't have an ability to export/import its tasks to use them later.

However, I've just contacted a responsible person and probably we'll implement this feature in future versions of Acronis True Image Home.

Please reply to this thread if you have any additional questions.

Thank you.
