Possible to boot and install TI from CD?
Acronis offers a CD at purchase time in addition to the download. Is this CD bootable? Is it possible to install TI from that booted system?
I burned a recovery CD and DVD from an installed version and when booted it offered to "install" TI but what it did was not really an install as such.

Encouraging but not definitive. Could you pop the DVD in another computer and see if the install process starts?
Thanks... Bob

Bob,
How can I put the CD/DVD into another computer and see if an installer starts when I don't have one? As previous stated, I've only purchased the downloaded version so I don't have a "purchased CD" to test. Also, perhaps I should have been more clear in my previous post. I don't know if the "purchased CD" that's available with the download purchase is the same as the retail "boxed" CD.
I've always looked at paying for a CD like that as a waste of money. I can always download the current installer from my Acronis account.
Regardless of the CD and how it's created, booting to it will not let you install TI into Windows (which sounds like what you're asking). Perhaps you are referring to the option to install the ASRM when booted into TI.

Exactly what I was asking. Thanks.
ASRM?

ASRM = Acronis Startup Recovery Manager
This is what gives you the "F11..." prompt when you boot the computer.
