Previous Disk Image not showing up in list of backups (Acronis TI 2011)
I did a complete C-Disk image back up on 12/25/16, Windows 7. The image was created then validated, no problem. The backup was listed in the list of backups as backed up with the notation, Backup has been successfullly completed and validated 12/25/16", as expected. HOWEVER, two days later the same back up is listed as "Not backed up yet". And under "total" -->" 0". "Location" G\ . Under this information the statement appears: "The backup is valid". The only option, though is to "Back up now". There is no "Recover" button available anymore.
When I look at the back up's location (G\), the backup is still present, as it was on the 25th. I am asking here why the list of back ups shows this particular back up as "not backed up yet" now, It was fine two days earlier. Why did the status of this backup change??
Please help.
Thank you.
Chick

> Acronis does not play well with multiple disk drives because it records the unique drive identification (UUID) for the backup drive in its internal database which then doesn't match the second drive etc.
So what should I do if I moved my backups to another HDD and the old one is not available?

Hedychrum, welcome to these User Forums.
Provided all your backups have been moved to the new HDD, then you should be able to use the option to Add an existing backup to the ATI GUI panel then select the latest backup file from the new HDD.
If you already have an existing backup task in the GUI for the moved backup files, then it would be best to remove the settings for that task before doing the Add existing backup.
If you are using the Acronis Rescue Media to boot the computer, then you can access / recover from the backup files on any HDD drive as there is no Acronis Database involvement in this standalone environment.
