I don't speak Italian or I'd be happy to try and help. If you translate, maybe I (we) can.

Hello Benedetto,
What kind of installation file are you using? Is this a install CD or download. Please remove if CD and/or delete if the file was downloaded, then re-download the latest build (installation file) for the version of Acronis you own. You can obtain this from your Acronis User acct, free. Running the clean up utility, following all steps and restarting was/is a good idea prior to this.

Greetings,
This is not an Acronis specific error. It generally indicates a problem with the windows installer component or more likely that your system has a corrupt file system or registry entries from failed installation.
The clean up utility does not exhibit this behavior because it doesn't actually install.
What OS are you installing the program under?
You can try performing a System Restore, and run the new installer file you downloaded from your user acct.
You may also want to run System File Checker from an elevated command prompt.
>sfc /scannow

Hello Benedetto,
There is no work around for this.
If your system is SP3, you have the latest windows installer component
You have re-downloaded the Acronis installer file
You need to verify file system integrity
With all due respect, its time for a new OS sir. While I understand it might meet some of your needs, its no longer supported. As more time passes, it will become less safe and more difficult to use. Software incompatibility, problems with webpages displaying or functioning properly, and more. Using Chrome or FF is just a band aid. I know, its like an old shoe... comfortable to wear and use.... but XP has had its day, 14 good years, but its been retired.
