Problem restoring to virtual XP machine

Thread needs solution

Hi,
I have Acronis True Image 11.
I have previously restored using it with no problems, however my old laptop finally died, so I bought a new one that is Windows 7 32.
I installed Windows XP mode and am running it via VMWare Player and have installed ATI 11 on it to retore the image of my old laptop into the virtual machine.
All is fine until I try to restore. The first step requires a re-boot and when it starts up again, I get a black screen with 'Starting Acronis Loader...'
I have read elsewhere that maybe downloading an updated bootable media disk will fix the problem, but I'm not sure how to use this with a virtual machine ? Any ideas ?

To answer my own question, after a bit of digging around I found the answer (I hope!)
I created a new blank virtual machine using VMWare player and selected the option to "install operating system later".
I then downloaded an updated bootable media image from the website using my account credentials, and burned it to disk.
With this disk in the drive, I just started the virtual machine, and it booted Acronis from the disk.
I then went through the normal recovery process and it all appears to be working so far.
It's currently restoring the old laptop hard drive. Fingers crossed....
