Problem with Windows-update and Indexing after cloning an HDD to SSD disk

Hi,
After cloning my HDD to an SDD disk the Windows-update and the indexing are no longer working.
It took me quite a lot of time to look for solutions and I could see on other forums, that many other users had the same problem with Acronis.
I could not find any solution so far. Is this bug fixed in the latest update of Acronis True image 2014?
Is there any solution to fix the problem, apart from installing back my old HDD and cloning with another software?

For Windows Update you should try changing to Microsoft Update. If you do not wish to use Microsoft Update and prefer the Windows Updater instead after you make the change to Microsoft Update you can change it back again to Windows Update. This will correct any registry entries which might be invalid.

For Indexing make sure that the Indexing service is running as well as RPC service under services.msc run from the start menu. Both should be set to automatic.
