Problems after Installing ATI 2012 Plus Pack and WinPE in Windows 7 Professional

I was having problems creating a bootable recovery disk in ATI 2012 that would work, so Acronis Tech Support had me download and install the Plus Pack and WinPE.

The recovery disk now works, but somehow: 1) the Thumbnail feature in the Windows Toolbar at the bottome doesn't work properly anymore- when you hover over an application icon, it shows the app's open windows in miniature, but when you hover over those miniatures, it doesn't show the enlargened versions of them like it used to.

And 2) it deleted all my Microsoft Outlook contacts. I went to an earlier ATI backup of my Outlook (.pst) file, imported it into Outlook, but it doesn't show any of the old contacts.
