Problems with shared external hard drives
I have three external USB2 hard drives connected to my HP Pavilion desktop running Windows XP Media Edition. These external hard drives are set to be shared with other laptop PC on the home wireless network. Upon the installation of Acronis True Image Home 2009, none of the external hard drives could be accessed via the home wireless network. The error message shows:
"\\HP Pavillion\EXT_DISK_H500G is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
Not enough server storage is available to process this command. [OK]"
When the True Image Home 2009 was uninstalled, the issue disappeared. All the three external hard drives could again be accessed by other PC through the home wireless network. Previously I had installed Acronis True Image 10 Personal, which did not have such problems. Could you help?

MudCrab,
Thank you very much for the help. The issue appears to have been resolved after creating an entry IRPStackSize with decimal base value 18 in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters.
