Problems With True Image 10 Home Recovery
Hi All,
I am finding it impossible to "Recover" a validated backup image made several days ago using True Image 10 Home. I have included all of the particulars in the attached MS Word 2000 document. Please read this, and please advise me as to what I should do.
Thank you in advance.

Yes I am doing it now...3:04 PM EST.
Thank you for pointing out those issues. I did not realize that this was such an open forum. I guess that I should have, however.

Richard, I believe your issue is caused by the hard drive size. See https://kb.acronis.com/content/1851. TI 10 Home only supports drive sizes up to 2TB. Do you have a smaller external disk or an internal disk that you could make another backup on or copy this backup to? Is this laptop or adesktop?

Hi Tom,
If 2 TB is the True Image 10 hard drive size limit, then how come I have been able to make validated backup images for several years on my 4 TB external hard drives. And not only that, but also, I have been able to recover my D: drive partition image from that 4 TB external hard drive?

Richard, what is the build version listed in Help-->About for the software installed on your machine? What is the build version listed in Help-->About for the original CD you booted from? If they are not the same I suggest you build a rescue cd using the currently installed TI Home 10. Then try booting from that disk to see if you can navigate the 4TB drive to see your image files. You can download the latest version from the link on this page http://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/updates/index.html. Keep in mind that the rescue cd uses a version of Linux and may not have all of the drivers you need. For recovery issues you can contact Acronis Support here http://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/. Recovery issues are supposed to be covered with out charge.
