Problems with ver.10: .tib file size, etc.

Thread needs solution

I run XP Pro with Acronis ver.10.

I do a complete drive image of c:\ which has about 68Gb of data.
However, my "successful" .tib files are only 1/10 that size, generally about 78Mb.

When I try to browse a .tib file, Acronis reports that a new drive letter (generally G:) has been assigned, then the computer locks-up (can't access My Computer or Win, Explorer to access G;, and Acronis itself generally becomes unresponsive. I cannot even open the Start button, but can open Task Mgr. using CTL-ALT-DEL.

Before attempting to browse a .tib file, I shut down all other programs, including anti virus.

BTW, my Acronis images are created with zero compression.

Any ideas?
