Product update issues - new installation doesn't run

Thread needs solution

Hi,
Until recently I was running True Image 2012 that I downloaded and installed in January. That version ran fine but after I updated to the latest version (via a prompt from the TI window) about 2 weeks ago, TI just won't start (consistently).

By that I mean that immediately after I performed the update TI wouldn't start. After trying various things including uninstalling TI and reinstalling the January version (that again worked without any problems as it did before the update) I again uninstalled TI, downloaded that latest version manually and installed it (manually) and TI ran/worked that time but when I tried to perform a backup several days later, TI again would not run/start, same as above.

I then followed some posts on this forum and again uninstalled TI using Acronis 'System Clean-up' tool, cleaned the registry using a registry cleaner, and reinstalled the program and again TI worked but now a week later again TI doesn't want to start.

I'm using Windows 7 with the latest patches and this whole thing is getting very frustrating so I would really appreciate some help.
