Program freezes when clicking on Options when creating a backup

Thread needs solution

I have just downloaded the latest version of ATI 2015, build 6613. Everything installs correctly, and I am able to build a backup set. My problem is, when I click on Options, the whole program freezes and says "Not Responding." I'll admit, didn't let it sit for too long before cancelling the program, but after 5 minutes if it's not responding, I'm not going to wait any longer.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled and redownloaded and reinstalled, and nothing has fixed this.

I have installed as administrator, run as administrator, installed while my anti-virus was disabled, and I'm still having the same issue.

Does anybody have any ideas why this is happening?

I have not tried running a backup without choosing Options first, so I will attempt that and then post back, but obviously there is a problem somewhere.

I am running Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit on an AMD FX-4170 Quad-core with 32GB RAM and more than enough room on a 250GB SSD.

Update:

Decided to run a small backup. The software froze up just like it does when clicking on Options, but it only did that for about 30-45 seconds and then started backing up. I checked the backup and it ran fine.

Freezes and stopped responding is usually indicative of a driver fault. I would check to make certain all drivers on your machine are the latest available.
