programs and windows 7 explorer.exe not working

Hi All,
i have dual boot system. in drive c i have windows home and in drive e i had windows ultimate.
i have created backup using acronis true image home for my windows 7 ultimate.

i just bought this laptop 1 week ago but due to some problem with this laptop i have got my laptop replaced with a new one but same model with same specs.

i have restored the acronis backup to my new laptop in E drive. it was restored successfully but when i started the windows 7 ultimate none of the programs worked. I do get a message once i logged in stating "i have been logged in with a temporary profile and everything will be deleted once i will logoff." To see the desktop i have to start explorer.exe using task manager. i cannot even open "My Computer". i can see the desktop and start menu have all the programs but nothing works. all softwares are in the drive but nothing works.

please help me with this.
