Question about 2014 Premium and Dell Venue Pro 11 Tablet

Thread needs solution

I am thinking of installing my copy of 2014 Premium to my new Dell Venue Pro 11. It has 64 GB of storage and I want to do a backup / clone image to a 64 GB MicroSDXC card. If I use the recovery disk and boot into Acronis TI 2014 Premium, should I be able to 1. Clone to the SD card or create a backup image of the master drive?

The tablet has the Atom z3770 chip in it. Has a micro USB port and a USB 3.0 port. Thought I would insert the SD card, and boot up into my external DVD drive....with acronis in it. My USB keyboard / touchpad combo in the Micro USB port for control

Is this feasible?

Thanks

Sounds veasible, if you can see both storage devices in TI and are able to boot into the media I think you should be ok

Unfortunately, it won't work. The Dell Venue Pro 5130 has the Atom processor (32 bit) and the UEFI environment is 32 bit. Acronis has Linux, 64 bit...so the machine won't even boot to it. Found this...

So I have to see other solutions.

Glad you found your answer even though it is disappointing.
