question about premium feature

Thread needs solution

I use the regular T.I. 2014. The premium edition says that it can restore to a different computer. Can it really do that successfully? About 3 years ago I tried that with Norton Ghost, and it made a big mess. Some of my main programs wouldn't run, etc.

The new machine will have different hardware, different drivers, and likely a different operating system.

Universal Restore is not the faint of heart, I typically say. You have to get the right drivers in the right format for your motherboard (*.inf and *.sys). It works many times very well and remains the best alternative to a full reinstall!

If you had tried Paragon P2P Os Adjust, I'm not sure your claim would be the same...
