Question about upgrading to 2011 from 2010
I am thinking of making the leap. Two questions
1. I have an SSD, so I wanted to make double sure that 2011 deals with alignment. I have read that my current version (2010) does deal with alignment during system restore...wanted to make sure that 2011 has successfully worked. Any input appreciated from those who have restored to SSD.
2. I mainly use the recovery .iso to do my backing up and restoring. I have never had issues with 2010 in either total recovery or file recovery. I see where there are many issues with 2011. Am I better sticking with my current version? What do I gain by upgrading? I pretty much use the software for total backups and disaster recovery, if needed.
Any input appreciated...
Thanks
System config:
HP Envy 17
Intel X25 160 GB drive C (OS and primary program drive)
Toshiba 640 GB 7200 rpm HDD as drive D (data and program drive)
Partition E off SSD with HP Recovery image
Two hidden partitions with HP tools and Win 7 allocated space
2010 recognizes all the partitions correctly and backs them up when I choose it all...
