Random fails to open backup destination
Acronis version 6514, Windows 8 64 bit, backup to QNAP NAS on 1GB lan
I'm seeing random issues where the backup destination can not be opened and the backup fails (also any attempt to validate reports a corruption).
I am able to navigate to the backup location on the NAS and open/copy etc from the tib files.
What seems to be happening is if acronis sees the backup location unavailable (which maybe temporarily true) then the unavailability 'sticks' even after a reboot or the NAS becomes available again.
The TEMPORARY fix for this is to open the backup settings, browse to the original location, validate connection settings again and save - without changing anything.
The backup and validation then seem to work again.
I consider this a bug.

Actually it seems to be a totally different issue. This problem has nothing to do with routers or the nas device itself and to avoid confusion I considered it cleaner to start an independent thread.
