Re-installing after

The only media I have is Acronis True Image 2014 Family Pack that had been upgraded to Version 15 and then Version 16. My newer PC had a mother board failure and my older one had a hard disk format. The replacement PC will be delivered next week and I am optimistic it can be restored from its last backup before it crashed. I must do the free upgrade to Windows 10 from its delivered Win 8.1 OS first.

I can see all my version histories when I sign on to my Acronis Account. How do I reinstall my latest Acronis version on these two PCs? I would like to make any mistakes I am going to make on my older machine so I am clear what to do so I will not mess up my new PC. I am pretty sure I cannot restore my entire C-drive from Win 10 when the PC is only running Win 8.1. It looked like it was running great until half-way through the restore it rebooted and had no OS.
