Receiving "Cannot find version x" and "Locate Volume x" pop-ups
I am encountering an increasing number of annoying issues with True Image 2015.
The latest is pop-ups showing either "Cannot find version x" or "Locate Volume x" when I attempt a recovery from the Windows UI, or I try to open or mount a volume from a TIB file.
Given Acronis's approach to support I think I may well seek another backup solution.
I have tried to attach screen shots and a system report to this post but I receive some kind of upload error, so I have put the zip files in my public dropbox.

Any info or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Same problem here. I have dozens of "Cannot find version 68" and more are generated every time I click these away. This is not a robust product, I'm looking for another one.

Edward,
You need to start over with a new backup task. What you describe cannot be fixed other than starting ove with a new backup task.
This GH-12 link can help show how to configure the task.
Editing an existing task is not recommended. Rarely does an edited task perform to user expectations. It is usually better to start with a new task using a new non-identical task name and point to a new storage sub-folder so each task has it own storage folder/sub-folder. Old task can be stopped or deleted from the task listings.

This is all very well, but we lose all the bakups we already have that we were relying on - what use is a backup if it risks failing when you need it? . I've also had this often and now also get it whem trying to do an incremantal backup

It would also be a good idea to check each of your partitions for disk or file errors. Such errors can also cause the backup to fail or not be restorable.
There was a cause to your problem and it may not have been your backup software.
