Thread needs solution

I searched the forum on how to remove an old backup that I created, and the solution seemed like a very convoluted way to do it through windows. Isn't there any simple way to do this in the program itself? I have TI Home 2010.

In TIH 2010, select the "Recovery" tab. Note that there is a button for "Disk backups" and one for "File backups". Clicking each will display a list of backups that TIH knows (or thinks it knows) the locations of. If you find the backup you're looking for, select it, then right-click, and a context menu will pop up where you can select "Remove". This will remove the backup from the archive catalog, and also delete it from disk. You can delete the entire archive chain by selecting the name that TIH has assigned to the archive set.

If the backup does not show up in the TIH archives catalog, you can delete it using Windows Explorer, or whatever method you usually use to delete a file.

The way I do this is use Windows Explorer, go to the drive that I used for holding my backups, r-click on the backup file and select Delete - just like deleting any other file/folder .... no magic to it.
