Recover Failed

Thread needs solution

I am trying to recover my partitions to an unallocated raid drive from an external hard drive.
It seems to go OK until the last 6 seconds. Then "the recover operation failed" error comes up.
I am using Windows 8.1 64 bit, with the latest rescue media disk.
I would appreciate a solution to this problem as soon as possible.

Does the rescue media disk see your RAID as a single volume? To verify, browse for the backup, and make sure it sees only one disk in the system, aside from the backup disk and the recovery boot disk (typically X:\).

If it sees the volume correctly, choose add new disk and select the raid volume as the new disk. You don't need to have Acronis create a partition. Then proceed with the recovery.

I have done exactly as you have explained above and everything goes OK until the last 6 seconds.
Then it seems to pause and starts counting back up to about 60 seconds before the error window appears.

I have formatted the raid volume which shows as a single drive and it still fails to complete.
The following error comes a few times in the log.
"Internal error: number of copied sectors differs from counted"
How do we fix this?
