Recover files from incremental backups without base backup

Hi,

I need to recover the data stored in the incremental backups however I'm missing the base backup on top of which the incremental backups were build.

Is that possible with True Image?

Is it possible to convert only incremental tib files without the base to Microsoft VHD?

Is the file format of tib files publicly documented?

Do incremental tib files always contain full modified files or only diffs to modified files?

Is it possible to recover files with simple file carving (e.g. Sleuth Kit)?

What compression algorithms are used in tib files?
