Recover Files requesting Authorisation Settings for obsolete path

Thread needs solution

I've recently upgraded to Acronis True Image 2015 and run an Entire PC back to a local USB hard drive. The backup ran successfully and I am able to see the backup file in the Acronis Backup list and via Windows Explorer.

If I select the backup and right click on Operations...Open Location the appropriate folder opens in Windows Explorer.

But when I select the backup and select Recover Files, Acronis prompts me to enter Authentication Settings for a NAS drive which I haven't used for months (and never with this version) and which is no longer connected to the network. This seems madness - even if I have used this drive in the past, why doesn't Acronis simply open the backup location relevant to this particular backup, which it clearly knows about.

I can find no setting to remove the old path, either in the application or via Registry Editor or hidden app files.

I appreciate I can recover individual files by clicking on the TIB files in Windows Explorer, but it is frustrating that I don't seem to be able to do this within the program itself.

Can anyone suggest a resolution?

OK I managed to resolve the problem as follows;

1) I navigated to the folder C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Database.
2) I reviewed all the *.opt files and deleted those that contained any reference to the old NAS path (not sure if this step was actually necessary).
3) I then manually renamed the Archives.db file.

4) On opening Acronis True Image 2015 again, the backup was still listed but the 'Recover PC' and 'Recover Files' options were no longer available.
5) I therefore clicked on Add Backup...Add Existing Backup and selected the recent backup location on the USB drive. The 'Recover PC' and 'Recover Files' options then became available.

6) On clicking Recover Files, the correct location is now opened and I was able to recover an individual file from within Acronis OK.

But it would have been nice to have an option to do this from within the program without having to mess around in ProgramData.
