Recover issue with Win/7 showing extra drive in option field during partition recovery setting - ATIM2012

Thread needs solution

I need a little help with restoring my corrupt SSD drive with my backup using ATIM2012. I am running Win 7-64bit. I have used various versions of this software for years; however, this is my first restore of a Win 7 system and using 2012

I have booted from the recover disk as normal. At the “choose recovery method” I chose “Recover whole disk and partitions”. This added check marks to the three items shown and call it “Disk 2”.

• Disk 2
o NTFS (SSD Disk) (C:) Pri 238 GB
o MBR and Track 0
o NTFS (System Reserved) Pri/Act 100 Mb

** NOTE ** The above 100MB partition does not have an associated drive letter

The next two windows ask for me to choose a new partition location. The 1st partition is labeled “Partition 2-1” and had has a 100MB partition size and has the following to choose from on my old disk

• NTFS (System Reserved) (C:) Pri/Act 100 GB
• NTFS (SSD Disk) (D:) Pri 238 MB

** NOTE ** where did the extra drive letter come from??

I chose the “NTFS (System Reserved) (C:) Pri/Act 100 Mb” option above to match the partition size and went the next step. Here, the 2nd partition is labeled “Partition C” and has the following to choose from on my old disk

• NTFS (SSD Disk) (D:) Pri 238 GB

If I pick this option I am concerned that the 100 MB NTFS partition will be formatted as my “C” drive (instead of not having no associated drive letter) and the NFTS 238GB partition will be associated with a “D” drive. Today the whole mess in on one disk and only the “C” drive is seen by the system. Can tell me, with certainty, what will happen if I continue with this recover? Do I need a new or older versions?

Review my signature item #3 below. Within that reference, item 1 or 2 should suffice.
