Recover Procedure for "tib" file on hard disk
How do you recover a "tib" that was deleted by the boot disk? Seeking help.
I have 5 or 6 "deleted" tib files on a 2T seagate external disk, OP Win7
Thanks in advance for any and all help...

Thanks for the comment....
I am going to put my expertise into play and find a real answer... I saw absolutely NONE in the other thread.
I will post a "Real Solution" here if I can find one, Like I said I believe the data is still just sitting there needing a windows identifiable name.
Thanks

Real Solution:
If Consumer/commercial recovery software/methods are not working, you will need Professional data recovery.
End of story.

That's possible, but if the undelete/recovery utilities mentioned cannot find it, then it may be gone. The larger the file the more likely it is gone, as the more likely it would be that some of the sectors it was on have now been overwritten. As .tib files are usually quite large, they're a less likely candidate for undeletion than something like an MS Word doc.

This is an external drive (Seagate) that hangs on a USB port, I have not written anything to it since the incident. I am going to make a back up on a flash drive and or empty hard drive and see if I can discern the file format/structure and replicate it on the Seagate when I am confident I can restore the file. I have time and I am sure someone here might just need the information that can be had...
I am thankful for all help.
