Recover very slow to retrieve folder list

I run file backups daily of about 400 gb total to an external USB-3 drive. My notebook is a 2.4 gHz quad core Dell with plenty of memory. The backup runs in a reasonable time frame.

When I need to run Recover, the display of the volume, folder and file list is so slow (20-30 minutes), it appears to be scanning the whole backup for the selected date to build the list. Was similar in 2013 True Image. Once the index displays, and the files selected, recovery proceeds at an acceptable rate.

Is this a known issue fixed in 2015?
