CD Recovery does show the Cloud option. Requests user ID (email address) and password and cannot connect to server.
It asks me to copy details for support and does not give me a way to paste. No notepad or equivalent.
The system report is generated to a C:\System Volume Information folder that cannot be seen when booting Windows 8.
I did see a reference to ETH0 and this leads me to believe it want's the machine to be hooked up via ethernet cable.
The backup to Acronis Cloud was done over WiFi and that is the area I will continue to look at.
[edit] BTW, no ability to take screen captures is available, ie. PrtScrn and paste. [/edit]

Hello Han Tacoma-Emons,
if you are experiencing any issues with Acronis Online Backup please contact our support team.
Regarding Notepad or creating screenshot functionality while booting from Acronis Media: Acronis Standalone Media is supposed to be first of all a recovery environment, generally it is a cut-down operating system based on Linux. So if you can simply create screen photos instead of usual screenshots in that are available in Windows.
Thank you.
