Recovery Disk not finding external backup drive

True Image 2014

When booting from Acronis recovery CD it won't find external backup drive even using browser. Booting from System 7 from internal drive, however, finds the external backup along with the .tib files.

I'd appreciate any tips about how to find my external backup drive with the .tib files so I can recover my disk image.

Answering my own question: I downloaded another bootable recovery disk image and burned to CD. That did the trick, at least once. When I rebooted from that new recovery CD multiple times, same problem; I could not find the external backup disk with the .tib files. I burned another bootable recovery CD from the downloaded Acronis file, and I can now see the .tib files in the external backup drive from the newest recovery disk.

Very strange!
