Recovery Expert on a Bootable Disk

Thread needs solution

I have had a much older version of Recovery Expert on a CD. I am guessing that it was put on a cd from a computer with Windows XP. The machine i used this on has died. I tried to use this on new computers and it won't see it. So i grabbed a newer version and I put it on a cd, but i can't get the cd to boot with Recovery Expert. I just want to know how to get this program to be put on a cd and for a machine to boot up the program from the cd? I have put it on a cd and told the machine to boot from cd, but it won't. I need it to run when the computer boots up. The computer won't have an OS on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Adam, welcome to these public User Forums.

Acronis RecoveryExpert is a long obsolete product dating from nearly 20 years ago and is no longer available.

Acronis Revive is a data recovery application but I am not sure that this deals with partition recovery other than recovering files etc from deleted partitions.

There are other companies who produce partition recovery applications that you can find by doing a web search.

Recovery Expert is now a part of Acronis Disk Director. You would be able to put Disk Director on a CD using the media builder in the product. I have used it with great success to recover accidentally deleted partitions.
