Recovery of files using trial version and support in general - painpoints
Hi folks
I am trialling the Acronis True image 2015 build 6525 and I am having some issues in testing a file recovery
I have a trial version of Acronis True Image 2015. I had a look at performing a test file recovery, but when I looked at the backup in the Acronis app, there are no files listed. It looks like the backup worked and there are files on disk, but nothing in the listing of files in the app.
Is this a restriction of the trial version?
Also, your support area needs a lot of tidying up. When I click on Contact Us -> Select Issue Type -> Technical Issues / Questions -> I am using a trial version . The webpage then asks me to Select a Product. However, there is nothing to select and I cannot get past that point. I cannot register a trial version as far as I can see so it’s a catch 22 situation.
Secondly, when I clicked on support and tried to use the chat option, I entered everything and selected Start Chat, it simply returned me to to the same page and the Start Chat option was not longer there. All fields have been filled in correctly.
Thirdly, I tried to call you using the number (which had call us instantly). However, once I got though there was a message about your office being closed, so not very instant at all.
I have to say, I would be nervous about buying this product and using it if these are the issues just on trialling the software.
Please can you contact me with suggestions as to how I resolve the above issues.
