Recovery Manager not working after upgrade

Thread needs solution

I have just upgraded my True Image 2013 to the latest version. The recovery Manager was activated on the previous version and worked OK. On turning on the PC just before windows booted I go the message saying press F11 to run acronis recovery manager.
Post upgrade all i get is "$arting recovery manager....¬" Pressing the space bar allows windows to boot. if i dont press the space bar nothing happens and the message stays on the screen.

I have deactivated recovery manager, rebooted windows and then reactivated and tried another boot but it still is not showing me the press F11 message.

Q. has anybody else come across this before and if so how do i resolve it?

Should I try re-installing the upgrade?

I also have the plus pack installed and this too was updated after true image.

I am running windows 7 64bit. fully patched.

Boot from the ATI 2013 bootable Rescue Media and try deactivating the ASRM from there, or activating and then deactivating it.

Personally I see little point to the ASRM and recommend against it. It modifies the boot records without any great benefit, as the bootable Rescue Media can do everything the ASRM does.
