Recovery from a network drive

Thread needs solution

Is it possible to recover if you're backing up to a network drive? My primary big storage device [also, non-local] is a Netgear NAS and I can back up to it just fine, but it occurred to me that it doesn't look like I'll be able to recover using it if my system dies. The NAS will do a bunch of protocols [essentially none of which I know much of anything about :)] but I've mounted it both as iSCSI and a windows mapped network drive. Both work fine and I can back up to either. Can I recover using either mode of access [or perhaps some other I could see if the drive can do]? Thanks /bernie\

What happens when you boot from the CD and simulate doing a restore?
